Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has equaled Samuel Eto’o’s record of most goals scored in a single Series season.
After scoring his 21st Serie A goal of the season against Torino on Sunday, Victor Osimhen equaled Samuel Eto’o’s record for most goals scored in a single Serie A season by an African.
Samuel Eto’o’ achieved this feet during his league winning season with Inter Milan in the 2009/2010 season where he scored 21 league goals guiding Inter Milan to the Scudetto title.
Victor Osimhen has been in incredible form this season scoring 21 league goals and 25 goals in all competitions for Napoli this season. Napoli are currently leading the Serie A table by 15 points and are also in the Champions League Quarter finals.
Osimhen is currently the highest goalscorer in the Serie A.
