Legendary Cameroonian comedian “o boy” confirms that Cameroonian awards looks scary .
Halloween is a western popular culture , on the night of 31 October, the eve of All Saints’ Day, often celebrated by children dressing up in frightening masks and costumes. Halloween is thought to be associated with the Celtic festival Samhain, when ghosts and spirits were believed to be abroad.
On the 29 of October, Oboy da comic took to his official Facebook page and made a comic but yet controversial post , in his words
“As na Halloween season here🇬🇧 i say make i copy this Sara people. I take some Award way i win some year so for Cameroon i putam for ma doorstep (if you see the sculpture🤣).
Beautiful People even mail officer never near my door for 2 good weeks now!”
End .
According to this write up from public interpretation it means the awards he won in cameroon was scary that even neighbors and mail officers where scared to look at it from his doorsteps when they passed by 😂.
This comes at a moment where many awards shows in cameroon have been suspended due to technical issues .
