Who’s Elisha K Elisha K is a 25 year old Cameroonian based afrobeats/afrosoul artist signed to Akumba Music.
His soft and soulful voice stands out uniquely and presents a huge potential for global impact when merged with his epic level song writing skills.
Elisha is the artistic half of a set of twins (Elijah and Elisha) born on the 30th of August 1997 in Limbe Cameroon into a God fearing family which hails from Baba 1, Ndop – North West region of Cameroon. Unlike his twin brother Elijah who’s a senior Developer (Computer Programmer) and more extroverted, Elisha is the introverted nerdy artistic half. Being a high functioning person (genius), Elisha excelled in Drawing, painting and music in his secondary school days in GHS Limbe. He finished High school and moved to Douala to pursue his passion – Music.
He would find himself in a recording studio in Douala in 2019 (Hit 54) where he worked on music production and perfected his craft.
This Multi-instrumentalist is a very gifted pianist and Guitarist, skills he acquired growing up in the Full Gospel Mission thanks to his Parents. Elisha’s moral up bringing enabled him to stay focus in perfecting a skill set which will later land him a very promising recording deal with his new found home (label) Akumba Music.
Worthy of noting that He is a cartoon animator and graphic designer and the secret face behind Mangik studios – A Cartoon animation production house responsible for and credited with over 70% of all lyric and animated music videos in Cameroon.

Elisha K is Described as “the basic building block” of Next Generation Afrobeats. This epic level Singer and Songwriter’s very rich and unique vocal timbre, combined with His Originality and Delivery Quality, gives him the potential to perform comfortably at the very top of the global Afrobeats tier. When Akumba Music’s Achu Normad, met the super talented Elisha K in 2019, His soulful voice and unique guitar skills made a very huge impression, as he already sounded like a full fledged New School Afrobeats artist back then. Keep in mind that this was way before the afrobeats worldwide boom. Seeing his enormous potential, the label boss tried to sign him several times but he was always met with the reply “No, Boss I’m still working on my craft“. Recently, Elisha said “Yes, Boss I’m ready, I’ve been on the back for too long, I wanna show what I came here for, I wanna be where I belong, I want to create a legacy with Akumba Music”.
With the addition of this formidable team member, Akumba Music now boasts of a world class star studded strike force capable of performing on the global stage (the dream pair Rinyu/Elisha K). We want to assure the general public that the future of 237 Urban Music just got more secured. Elisha K just released his first single titled Love Me, which is a collaboration with his label mate and current top Cameroonian female artist Rinyu.
