A casserole is a kind of large, deep pan or bowl used for cooking a variety of dishes in the oven; it is also a category of foods cooked in such a vessel. To distinguish the two uses, the pan can be called a “casserole dish” or “casserole pan,” whereas the food is simply “a casserole.”
Only South Africa’s Bobotie(11th Globally), and Egypt’s Macaroni Bechamel(26th Globally) were ranked ahead of Ndole in Africa. The dish was also given a 3.2/5 Rating by Taste Atlas. The rating didn’t come as a surprise as the Cameroon cuisine is considered by many to be the best in Africa with their wide, diversified variety of dishes.
